dc.description.abstract The study of algal benthic flora, and the effects of their species its invasive ahead to the Mostaganem’s coast we allowed, with an experience phytosociological established in time and space, to inventory an interesting list. This list is composed of 137 species, one of them new for the Algerian marine algal flora. This list is also distributed in order of dominance, (50,36% Rhodophyceae, 28,46% pheophyceae and 21,16% Chlorophyceae). If you take the group of there species, it’s easy to see that some of these present a remarkable about their endemism, and their characters of disturbance the marine environment. Otherwise, others of these species present a good quality of the aqueous medium, deserving protection and preservation. Biogeographically, this floristic procession well highlights the dominance of the species Atlantico-boreal, followed of the cosmopolitan, the Mediterranean, and the tropical element, Pantropical and others. The result of this experience is not far for all the data provided by the literature in the Western Mediterranean. It’s finally an evidence that these species loving the infralittoral to warm and calm affinities, characterized by a report Rhodophyceae/Phaephyceae of 2.50 neighbor from this statement that in some Mediterranean areas. In addition to that, the recent appearance of such invasive species Caulerpa racemosa will. Cylindracea, constitute a great impact about the reduction of the algal species diversity. By the way, some stations heavily affected by the invasive taxon, like salamander and Stidia. The activity of fishing in these stations constitutes an appearance problem. No far for the two stations below, we detect in areas not affected by Caulerpa, the presence of about 20 species presenting a good opportunities in studies economic and ecological impact. It’s recommended to be used as tools of monitoring of the quality of marine waters. The recovery rate to other taxa share wealth by various algal compounds, and their significant biomass, suggest an operation in the future. It’s very important to take measures to eradicate control and/or reduce the expansion of the invasive alga. There to principle topic of this studies in order to have a lean fishing area and to be have a good opportunity to promote and support the tourism sector. en_US
