dc.description.abstract The objective of this study is to determine the diet of the most appropriate Opuntia able to cover maintenance requirements in extreme drought with the least economic cost of the ration and its impact on digestibility, feeding level and the effect of the incorporation of cladode on five biochemical parameters. The incorporation of spineless Opuntia was conducted on 16 dry ewes, maintenance, in cross over, divided into 4 lots, by comparing them. The results showed that the digestibility of Opuntia improves the digestibility of organic matter in straw-based diets; it is in the range of 63% ±4.75 for regime 2. The regime 2 covered the maintenance requirements, and the estimated cost of 12.5 DA ration. This local plant genetic bioresource could be a new niche additional fodder units. rides, diets 2, 3 and 4, before and after incorporation of cladodes, varied very significantly at p < 0.01.Uremia the diet 3 has increased significantly. The chemical composition of fatty acids showed that the racket of Opuntia is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. The incorporation of Opuntia could meet the energy needs of animals, its use as a dietary supplement is recommended in arid areas. She showed her blood sugar regulating effect and hypolépidemiant both the man to animal. en_US
