Résumé:
The skill of a coach is a set of knowledge, know how to be and how to precede (BRUANT
(G), 1989), for the identification of a problem and solving it by an effective action
(performance) "( Gillet, 2005).
A "good" coach is the one who is mainly known by its peers, as athletes and leaders
(actors of the sport system).however, An interrogation needs to be clarified:
At what level will be the representation of the professional skill, given by these actors of
sport system, expected by the coaches?
The purpose of this research is to make the identification of these required skills
available (the implicit and the explicit ones), which is represented by the various stakeholders,
including the prospect of developing the competency of a judo coach.
As a result It's resulted that, coaches and athletes have the same representations of
technical and teaching skills. However, we find discrepancy representations regarding the
organizational and managerial skills.
