This study aimed at measuring the determinants of Tunisian migration to 18 countries during the period (2000-2016), using the gravity model. The results of the measurement showed that the size of the population of Tunisia, the relative rate of real per capita income, the number of unemployed and the number of university graduates in Tunisia, language, colonial history and common borders, have a positive effect in increasing Tunisian migration flows abroad. While the negative impact of the distance factor and the variable size of the population of the destination countries were not affected. |
