Sécurité routière et politiques locales de déplacements : Elaboration d'un plan de Déplacements Urbains cas de la ville de Mostaganem

Abstract

Urban mobility is today because of the flow of vehicle one of the major challenges facing the development of Algerian cities and safety of users. Urban transport management is a policy objective and significant technical face an explosion in car ownership in our society. The analysis of this mobility allows better control urban sprawl, preserve the environment and maximize the economic and social benefits of urbanization. Mostaganem city like the other Algerian cities an increasing number of accidents and casualties are the result of a major city traffic. The city sees the main arteries blocked by traffic during long periods of the day is the result of overuse of cars in various displacement. The town of Mostaganem records in recent years car traffic that began to cause problems of nuisance acute (accidents, noise, pollution, ...). The search for innovative solutions is a strategic objective for those responsible. Our study is set as an objective analysis of road safety based on the study of mobility through a local political movement. The results we got show clearly the socio-economic, that the city of Mostaganem, which led to a rapid urban growth, characterized on the one hand, a preservation of the structure of the city and its center on the other hand, the emergence of new mobility practices widely promoting the use of cars and taxis to the detriment of public transportation. The network of roads has shown that it was not adapted to new volumes of traffic. The multiplicity of activities within the urban group to generate a large number of trips, thus stifling the circulatory system in downtown. The proposed recommendations developed a strategy to protect certain parts of the city of flooding from a car and secondly to develop a management system for urban mobility while preserving the safety of users through a policylocal travel.
