Résumé:
The city of Mostaganem; which is an average town, knows as the other cities of Algeria a great problem of urban and peri-urban transport; particularly in terms of public transport because it is supposed to meet the demand of urban travel.
Until then the evolution of the fabric urban does not obey that bunk circulations patterns which are differentiated by their mode. Although each mode of transport; bus; taxi; train, , tram or other meets part of the demand for urban transport; the quality of this movement became more priority and it is in this sense that we intend to introduce intermodality urban practice.
Intermodality refers to the use of several modes of transport in a same displacement.
This aspect in urban transportation means that should create a structure or authority who specifically handles modes of urban transport intermodality because each mode has a different structure.
Although transport is managed by the transport branch is no longer topical that should manage only administratively transport as the fact this organization but rather technically because this is where the problem lies. It must reconcile all aspects of the field of urban transport; his report to the instruments of urban planning (PDAU, POS, etc.); as they are established; its technical aspect; the execution of the works related to transport (highways, structures, etc.); its economic aspect.
We will therefore reach the context in which the intermodality as a solution to the problems of urban transport. All of this to provide a range of possibilities to the user of transit to meet daily attention to travel.
Urban transit in the city of Mostaganem should be reviewed in a comprehensive manner to the balance sheet of the situations of each separate mode and power after that introduce a new vision where intermodality is the alternative to ensure sustainable development of transport network which is the essence of urban activity.
Should we not clarify the city zoning that part urban and peri-urban part is clearly defined and served as a scalable and reasonable?
Should he not operate heavy changes in the urban structure through the creation of a central or main frame along which or which structure the range and richness of urban movement?
The connection between the different modes of transport is the crucial point which should be treated by the instruments of urban planning as underbelly as basins of life. Urban travel plans must be defined in the elaborations PDAU, POS, and it is at this level that must be reflected and designed poles of trade as a base of intermodality and especially support the joints of the fluctuations of urban transport in its complexity and its flexibility. The city is finally only the image of moving it.
We will try after investigation on to establish a comprehensive assessment of the results achieved by the current management of collectif transport in the city of Mostaganem, then we will try to sit in the principle of intermodality.
