dc.description.abstract Our work relates to the study of electric machines used for the production of electricity by using wind energy, we are interested in our thesis in the study of the doubly fed induction machine (DFIM) because this type of machines is one of the most popular variable speed wind turbines used nowadays. : For this purpose, we will study the DFIM capacities for various types of control and for this reason, it must be modelled which will be subjected to a linear control which we will use the vector control technique, and then with the nonlinear control which we will use the sliding mode strategy. In our study we did not neglect stator resistance, contrary in the majority of work carried out by the researchers on this type of machines, this so that the model used reflects well the reality. Throughout this work, we will be interested in the DFIM performances in various uses as much as generator by several techniques which we will evoke in this thesis. en_US
