dc.description.abstract |
Methanol is synthesized starting from the synthesis gas (CO + H2 +CO2), this last is obtained starting from methane CH4 and from the water vapor. Rough methanol product contains some undesirable compounds; this is why the last stage of the process is the purification by distillation.
Two columns are devoted for distillation in the national company of petrochemistry CP1Z, we are interested in the second column V602.
The current tendency of the persons in charge for CP1/Z(ENIP) is to increase the load of unit methanol, to work to its extreme.
The CO2 addition in the circuit of gas of synthesis increases the output and thus the load on the level of the fractionating columns.
My topic consists, with the dimensional calculation of column V602 the fractionating.
A checking of the capacity of the column where one must take into account the rate of rebouillage and the capacity of condenser.
Simulation of the column with simulator HYSYS 3.2.
Comparison of the results of HYSYS 3.2 with the technical parameters of rebouillor and of the column. |
