dc.description.abstract |
Nigella sativa has been around for a long time. This plant from the buttercup family is used as
a spice and natural remedy, according to the literature, the chemical composition of black
seed and its therapeutic effects have been widely studied around the world. Modern and
innovative extraction techniques mainly helped produce rich and concentrated extracts and
prove the important efficacy of these seeds. In general, the essential and stable oils of nigella
seeds are the most studied, they offer very important efficacy against microorganisms of
bacterial and fungal origin, and it is also a very remarkable antioxidant power, these
biological activities are generally related to the richness of this plant with polyphenols,
especially flavonoids. |
