Study summary:
The subject of our research is the body image of a woman with a prolapsed uterus due to
severe vaginal bleeding. It aims to reveal the psychological pension of the acquired woman and to
know the feeling produced before and after the eradication process, as well as to know the
ideology of culture and society regarding the reproduction process according to the multiplicity of
births and menopause, in addition to the cases that enter into childbirth.
To reach the desired results, we selected two cases present in the pre-operative wing of the
Maternity and Childhood Hospital, “Lalla Khaira”, and this was between the period between
December 22, 2019, and March 31, 2020. Between 47 to 52 years old.
From this, we applied the clinical approach with its tools, where we employed the clinical
interview and the clinical observation, and we applied the McCover-Person drawing test to detect
the body image in cases and in the end we reached the following results:
- Body image does not change, especially for women who have multiple births
- The two cases were able to adapt to their body image after the excision.
- With regard to these two cases, there is no relationship between the hysterectomy
process and the body image, especially since the uterus is not visible in addition to the stopping of
the menstrual cycle according to age. |
