Abstract :
The current study aims to reveal the differences in thinking patterns according to
Herman's brain control theory among first-year high school pupils, between high achievers
and late students. Where reliance was made on the descriptive comparative approach, and
the study sample included students of the first year of secondary school at the secondary
school of Bin Zaza Mustafa Kharrouba Mostaganem, their number reached (64) pupils,
including (32) males and (28) females, for the academic year 2019/2020. To reveal
patterns of thinking according to the theory of Hermann designed by Dr. Belkard
Muhammad, and to analyze the results, the researcher used percentages, the difference test
(Ka²), based on the 20spss statistical packages program for social sciences, and after
processing and analysis, the study reached the following results:
1-Most of the first year secondary school students have (AB) thinking pattern according to
Herman's brain control theory.
2--There are differences in the prevailing thinking patterns according to Herman's brain
control theory between the high school students and those who are late in studies in the
first year of secondary school with a scientific specialization.
3- There are no differences in the prevailing thinking patterns, according to Herman's brain
control theory, between those who excelled and who were late in studies among first-year
secondary school students with a literary major.
