dc.description.abstract Various of hematological malignancies can be the result of deregulation of the Hematopoietic homeostasis, among them leukemias commonly known as blood cancer. Leukemia represent an heterogenous group of malignant transformation of neoplasia characterized by hematopoietic precursors (Blasts) with little differentiation unable to Complete their maturation. The diagnosis of these diseases is made through the FAB classification based on cytological, hematological and biochemical criteria or by the OMS classification which introduced cytogenetic as another diagnostic tool. In owr work, we carried out an epidemiological study; including patients diagnosed at A.P.M level by means of a data sheet containing epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic and evolutionary criteria. On all the cases studied, LLC is the most frequent (41%) followed by LAM and LMC (34% ET 12% resp) and finally, LAL actively (11%). In conclusion our results remain to be compared with other works for other periods and regions in order to generalize the percentage of leukemias for the entire Algerian population. en_US
