dc.description.abstract |
All around the world a lot of learners have strong desire to learn and speak English with correct pronunciation. The students of English language at the university ABDELHAMID IBN BADIS MOSTAGANEM is no exception. The present study deals with the problems in English pronunciation experienced by learners whose first language is Algerian Spoken Arabic. In another word to find the problematic sounds and the factors that cause these problems. The instruments used for collecting the data were a structured questionnaire and, recording test. The data collected were analyzed both statistically and descriptively. The preliminary results of this research show that Algerian students of English (ASLs) have problems with the pronunciation of English. |
