dc.description.abstract |
The hospital is a place where we treat but it is also a place where we can contract infectious diseases that are nosocomial infections they are responsible for extending the length of stay
The overall incidence of nosocomial infections is urinary tract infections, postoperative wound infections .respiratory infections and infections of intravenous catheters bacterial infections and sepsis and other infections.
The major contaminants are Eschericia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella, Serratia, Acenitobacter, Alcaligence, and Bacillus.
The implementation of a program of prevention and control of nosocomial infections was seen for two decades, as a major policy fight against nosocomial infections element.
The main objective of the research study is opportunistic pathogenic germs (Chu Oran) at maternity ward and intern medicine ward.
In these services has found the following organisms ; Eschericia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus Sp, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella, Serratia, Acenitobacter, Alcaligence, Bacillus.
Nosocomial infections were due to problems with lack of asepsis ad antisepsis because of lack of microbiological was not yet known. |
