Abstract

Le processus de liquéfaction du gaz naturel aboutit à la production de GNL et de sous-produits comme le propane et le butane, stockés après réfrigération à des températures spécifiques (propane à -41°C, butane à -5°C). Cependant, des dysfonctionnements ont été observés dans la section de réfrigération de l'unité 72 du complexe GL3/Z. Le problème principal est la fermeture répétée de la vanne 72- ESDV0001, causée par une chute de température du butane à -8°C, protégeant ainsi le bac 72- MF01. Cette fermeture entraîne des pertes de produit (évaporation, réchauffement, vers la BDC) et de la pollution due à une combustion incomplète à la torche. L'étude a identifié l'instabilité de la charge et des températures à l'entrée de l'unité comme cause racine. Pour un fonctionnement optimal de l'unité 72, une alimentation stable en butane et propane est cruciale, ainsi qu'une pression suffisante (> 4 barg) au niveau du 72MD04. Pour résoudre ces problèmes, trois solutions ont été proposées : l'utilisation de la ligne de circulation butane, l'utilisation du by-pass de la vanne 17-FV0038, ou l'installation d'une vanne trois voies. To address these issues, three solutions were proposed: using the butane circulation line, utilizing the bypass of valve 17-FV0038, or installing a three-way valve.
