| dc.description.abstract |
Pulmonary diseases, particularly pulmonary cancer, are among the most prevalent health
conditions worldwide. The primary challenge in combating pulmonary cancer and other
pulmonary diseases lies in enhancing the efficiency of early diagnosis and reducing costs for
patients, thus increasing the chances of treatment before the disease progresses. To address
these challenges, we propose an advanced AI-powered solution for detecting pulmonary cancer
and other pulmonary diseases using scanner images. The main objectives of this project include
the development of an image analysis system, creation of accurate classification algorithms,
design of a user-friendly interface, enhancement of early diagnosis opportunities, and the
revolutionization of the diagnostic process through advanced technologies.
This project is motivated by deep personal experiences, including the loss of the father and
uncle of "Amira" due to lung cancer. These trials have fueled our commitment to improving
early detection and diagnosis by developing a more accurate and reliable method for detecting
lung cancer and other lung diseases, reducing false negative results, and improving patient
outcomes. |
