dc.description.abstract Over the past few years, educational system relied heavily on listening and listening comprehension programs and methodologies to develop student’s listening skill and enhance their spoken language. The present research work attempts to shed light on teaching listening skill. The aim of this research is introducing and studying listening and listening comprehension in the context of the second level at the middle schools as a whole. In addition to that, this study aims to raise students and teachers awareness about common listening issues, and about the development of their listening skills. Moreover, this research aims to inform teachers about their students’ listening issues coupled with recommended solutions and strategies for both students and teachers. Chapter one is devoted for introducing listening and the elements that are related to listening issues in general and listening comprehension in specific. Chapter two is for the purpose of collecting necessary data to answer this study’s research questions, with use of a questionnaire which was handed to a sample of thirty teachers from Middle School of Relizane. Chapter three is naturally used to interpret the result obtained from the questionnaire and recommended solutions for listening issues at hands, we also mentioned the significant of this study and the limitation that faced during the production of this research en_US
