dc.description.abstract Plant extracts have a very promising interest as a potential source of biologically active natural molecules. It is in this context that our study focuses on the valorisation of botanical extracts of various origins in the field of crop protection. For this we chose a medicinal plant mint (Mentha spicata), and an edible plant squash (Cucurbita pepo). The extraction of the active principles is carried out by two different methods, the first by the Soxhlet method for mint and the other by sonication for the squash. The results of the «in vitro» bioassays of the extracts applied to the Tuta absoluta larvaes show remarkable efficacy for the 20% dose of mint our « in vitro» results confirm the positive results achieved « in vivo» and for the extracts of the squash the results varied according to the doses applied. This work provides encouraging data on the application of vegetable extracts as alternatives to chemical pesticides ... en_US
