Résumé:
Abstract This work has as main objective the determination of the importance of plant mass olive SIG region to strictly olive growing. It took place in the latter and more specifically in the ElBoustane pilot farm. Previously, a cutting region into 6 zones is done to facilitate the different measures. Several parameters of the area and especially the olive tree are measured. Google EarthPro software (2016) is used for the enumeration of plots of olive trees, the surface of the latter and the counting of trees throughout the GIS area. Methods for direct measurement of the olive tree are used to find out the size of the latter, the diameter and height of the crown, the diameter and length of the frames trunk and branches and finally the weight and surface of the foliage. These measurements were used to estimate the overall weight of the aboveground biomass of the olive tree. The main results of this work are summarized as follows: Between 2005 and 2015, an increase of around 10% in the number of land is recorded for the entire study area, equivalent 91 new plots. The current total area occupied by the olive tree in the whole region is estimated at 46 256 ha corresponding to 914parcelles and about 445 000 trees. Approximately weight of aboveground biomass for the entire region is estimated at 30128 tons of fresh plant material. A leaf area of about 8340m2pour only a sample of 4 trees.
