dc.description.abstract |
The thyroid is a gland that produces hormones necessary for the whole body. Located in the lower neck, the thyroid plays a major role in regulating the metabolism of the body's cells. Thyroid pathologies are favored by some relatively well-identified risk factors, and one of the most important of these factors is iodine, which is found in the diet.
Some thyroid disorders require reviewing some of her eating habits. Indeed, a specific diet adapted to each of the pathologies will stabilize the needs of thyroid hormones. We carried out a food survey using a questionnaire for 40 patients with thyroid disorders, aged between 09 and 60 years, the majority of cases being women, and it was concluded from their responses that they have almost the same dietary habits and they do not follow any diet. |
