Résumé:
The place of nutrition is essential in the treatment of chronic kidney failure, diets adapted to
each stage of the disease and types of treatment are necessary.
The retrospective survey of 113 hemodialysis patients, including 62 men and 51 women,
spread over 6 months, were carried out by the LMBAFS laboratory in order to identify the
dialysis diets and whether they are disciplined and following the dietetic diet. The results were
obtained using a survey on dietary frequency and some dietary habits.
According to the survey, we found that the intake of animal proteins was reduced. In our
population 38.93% of hemodialysis patients consume the meat once a week, 53.09% did not
consume the eggs every day. In addition, dairy products are consumed once to twice / day.
The contribution of vegetable proteins is preferable to hemodialysis given to their poverty in
phosphorus; according to our survey, we found that patients consume much more bread
44.24% (at least 200g / day) than cereals 29.20%. Food rich in potassium is rarely consumed
especially bananas, while they consume the vegetables in large quantities. About 58% of our
sample did not follow the half-salt diet and 39.82% drink a lot of water.
The hemodialysis patients concerned by the present study do not seem to follow their dietary
regimen, over the length of the years spent in hemodialysis thr aknowledge of the diet hardly
depends on the level of study of patients given its importance.
