THE MASS MEDIA DEVELOPMENT LED TO A SOCIAL ESTABLISHING THAT CONTRIBUTED IN SATISFYING THE DIFFERENT NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS IN SEVERAL WAYS, COMPENSATORY AND PARALLEL TO THE NATURAL ONES. BUT, THE INDIVIDUALS DIFFERENCES IN PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL NEEDS (AGE, GENDER, SOCIAL SITUATION, AND SO ON…) LEAD TO DIFFERENCES IN INDIVIDUALS BEHAVIORS AND THEIR INTEREST TOWARDS THESE NEEDS ,
THE PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT THE HANDICAP CAUSES PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL NEEDS, NEEDING A SPECIAL SATISFYING. THAT MEANS THAT IN ADDITION TO PERSONAL AND SOCIAL CHARACTERISTICS, THE HANDICAP PLAYS A ROLE IN INDIVIDUALS INTERESTS DECISION IN ORDER TO SATISFY THEIR NEEDS. FROM THIS, THE PROBLEMATIC OF OUR STUDY IS ABOUT INFORMATIVE USE AND GRATIFICATIONS OF HANDICAPPED IN ALGERIA, WHICH OBJECTIVE IS MAINLY THEIR NEEDS WITHIN THEIR RELATION WITH MEANS OF COMMUNICATION. FOR OUR STUDY, WE HAVE ELABORATED A RESEARCH PLAN DIVIDED INTO FOUR CHAPTERS: THE FIRST IS ABOUT THE METHODOLOGICAL ASPECT OF THE STUDY. THE SECOND ON THE THEORETICAL STUDY. THE THIRD, ON THE NEEDS AND MOTIVES .THE FOURTH, ON THE HANDICAPPED PERSONS. THE FIFTH, ON THE PRACTICAL ASPECT OF THE” STUDY.
