The field of human language cant avoid this change, so we tried through this study to answer the following question : What is the impact of the use of social networks –facebook as model - on language practices ?,and we seek to shed light on the effects caused by using social networks - Facebook as model-, on how we communicate, especially on language practices because the development of all languages depends on the advancement of science and technology. As mentioned above, language becomes more malleable to allowed us to say a lot with less linguistic productions in the digital space, We adopted the descriptive survey method to determine the characteristics and nature of the language that flows between students on Facebook .
The outcome of this analysis shows that the language used on Facebook is based on abbreviation, either by comment or by publications. The conversations depends largely on the hybrid language that combines all languages at once, and replacing some Arabic letters with numbers, symbols, and Latin letters . Emoticons are used to convey what the user is feeling without actually having to write it . Facebook has also done more than other platforms ,it gives birth to some new expressions that reflect the modernity and elegance for the users.
