Abstract

The aim of this study, which the public query focused about how to handle Ennahar channel the election campaign 2014, and what are the trends of students of Media and Communication Sciences, and political science at the University of Mostaganem for this media treatment Science, In order to identify the type of persuasion techniques used by the channel, to direct the viewer to vote for a particular candidate, and revealed some of the ideas that the channel used in the coverage of the presidential election 2014, as well as the nature of the relationship between the private channels and the Algerian political system, to know political communication trends which made by the Ennahar channel, which occurs between the recipient and the based contact, Proceeding from the following sub-questions : 1/ Analytical study questions : -What are the main themes that are focused on Ennahar channel during the coverage of the election campaign 2014 ? - Is the Ennahar channel committed to the standard of neutrality in dealing with the subject : Media campaign, the opponents of the fourth covenant, supporters of the fourth covenant - What sources of news articles adopted by the channel during its coverage of the presidential election ? - What is the nature images accompanying the cover of the channel during the election campaign ? - What are the persuasion techniques used by the Ennahar channel during thecoverage of the election campaign ? 2/ The field study questions : - What are the habits and patterns of showing the students of Media and communication Sciences and political science at the University of Mostaganem to Ennahar channel ? - To what extent the adoption of students of Media and communication Sciences and political science at the University of Mostaganem on the Ennahar channel as a source of information during the election campaign 2014 ? - To what extent Ennahar channel contributed to creating perceptions and political ideas during the coverage of the election campaign 2014 ? We tried through these questions to answer on the following assumptions : -The power is the control of issues that were addressed by theEnnahar channel during the election campaign. - Most students of media and communication and political sciences at the University of Mostaganem relied on Ennahar channel as a source of political information during the election campaign 2014 -Most students of media and communication and political sciences at the University of Mostaganem considered that Ennahar channel did not show the credibility and objectivity during the election campaign 2014 In this study we relied on two techniques : Content analysis technology : we relied in this study on the content analysis through quantitative Analysis and news that had broadcast by Ennahar channel during election campaign from the beginning of its launch day 23 rd March until 13th April, we chose(09) newsletters out of (21) newsletter The Form Technology : The study sample consisted of field in the sample of non- probability through the selection of students who watch Ennahar news channel, and they followed the election campaign event 2014 when we chose through it the respondents according to the scientific level, i.e : we chose from each level 10%, The questionnaire was distributed to the students of Media, and communication sciences and political science at the University of Mostaganem from the beginning of the month of May 2014 after the presidential election by 13 days.
