Abstract:
In this study we presented the importance of water in human life and its pollution by toxic elements. The possibility of Treaty and to preserve the environment has led to the application of treatment processes by inorganic membrane filtration. Kaolin as the primary material of this membrane study is used as starting material in the synthesis of inorganic membranes
membranes were prepared at different temperatures to 1150 ° C and 1050 ° C, mixed with aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide.
The membranes are symbolized by MCK1, MCK2 and MMS. To improve the performance of these membranes and the accessible pores. a thin film was prepared based on alumina alkoxides by the sole gel method (MCKA1, MCK2 and MLSA). After characterization of these membranes by analysis techniques such as SEM, ATG, RX IF red and characterization by the zeta meter for measuring the load or the electric properties of the membranes.
Were carried tap water filtration tests to study the filtration variables and measuring the parameters of inorganic membranes such as permeability, flow, FRV, pH and the conductivity.
The application of these membranes in the treatment of dyes, salts, heavy metals and releases at different concentrations (10-3 M, 10-4 M and 10-5 M) were given significant results. It was found that the MCKA1 MCKA2 membranes and give a retention rate of 100% heavy metals. By against the retention rate ranges from 42.12% to 97.45% using MCK1 and MCK2. The saline retention rate is low (11.86% to 67.45%) through the membrane MCKA2.Le dye retention rate varied according to the dye used and the concentration of the solution. The MCKA2 membranes have yielded better results than membranes MCKA1.
