Résumé:
The antioxidant activities, total phenolic, flavonoids contents of extracts from two different parts (stems and flowers) of
Rhanterium adpressium were investigated. The antioxidant activities were evaluated using the scavenging of 2-2-
diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH´ ). The total phenolic content (TPC) was evaluated according to the Singleton
and Ross assay in which gallic acid was used as standard. Flavonoids content were evaluated by using the Lamaison
and Carnat method. The results show that the extraction yield depends on the nature of the solvents. The total phenolic
compounds and flavonoids were in the range of de 0.09- 10.50 mg. EAG/gMS and 0.01- 4.94 mg. ER/gMS
respectively. The Chloroform extract exhibit the highest antioxidant activity with EC50 value of 9.38x10-3 g/L. The
antioxidant activities were independent from the amounts of phenolic compounds
