Résumé:
The study examined the evolution of the growth and male’s weights and female rabbits resulting from a mating of a rabbit and a giant French butterfly rabbit in the Mazouna region. The animals were placed in two different cages with feeders and in which the experiment was carried out. Weighing and weight gain are measured from a lower age and for 09 weeks. That is up to an age of 03 months. All the conditions of atmosphere and food have been respected. The results showed that the weights and weight gains obtained are comparable to the standard (0.246 kg vs 0.250 kg). The study shows that sex has not had an influence on the growth of young rabbits, however, unbalanced diet and climate are the two criteria to watch closely for successful breeding.
