Résumé:
The aim of this study is to show the importance of devaluation on the Algerian trade balance made by Algeria, by the study of the exchange rate and balance of payments.
The findings show that the importance of devaluation of the Algerian dinar had no significant consequences on the national economy, especially in terms of exports. The Algerian economy is considered a rental economy based on high oil prices, which are subject to global factors outside the scope of the devaluation policy.
