Abstract :
* Current studies have been aiming to pinpoint the levels of self estimation for
the teenager drug abusers . There have been a study conducted on a sample of
drug using teenagers of the ages between 15 and 23 years old , located in the
" in Mostaganem , and the general CADC Central Agency for Drug Control "
concern was as follows : How does drug abuse effect self estemation for
teenagers? in which more question branched out such as : how high or low is the
the drug abusers self esteem ? and how does the drug abuse effect the sociality
of the teenager? , through it the status study approach has been followed and to
test the validity of the theories that have been attached to such cases these
medications have been used : Clinical Interviews and observations and
Rosenberg's Self esteem gauge , to reach answers for the questions that have
been asked and these are the answers that resulted from the tests :
1- Drug abuse effect teenagers self esteem negatively .
2- The self esteem levels are situated between Mid to low for the teenage drug
abuser.
3- Drug abuse highly effects the self control for the teenagers and result in
symptoms of stress and anxiety.
4- Drug abuse effects the social status of the teenager since it results in anger
managment issues as well as it drives them to solitude.
