dc.description.abstract |
Food is the first medicine, eating well is therefore the key to preserve your body and avoide many diseases. As the excessive consumption of sugars causes irreversible damage in a long-term, in addition of being very caloric, it is advisable to control our consumption of sugar, which has led scientists to an alternative to calorie-free sweeteners.
Sweeteners are foods with sweetening power; which varies with different sweeteners, they may or may not be nutritious; they are used to keep the taste sweet, decrease the energy load, remodel the glycemic index, and replace sucrose and especially for better compliance of the diet in the long term.
In the field of quality control, the present and most reliable method for simultaneously determining 7 artificial sweeteners (including aspartame, saccharin, acesulfame-K, neotame, sucralose, cyclamate, alitame and a natural sweetener) and HPLC / ESI-MS.
Without omitting all the results of the analyzes of an experimental study of two types of juice (sweet and light), on 18 mice, which made it possible to clarify the effect of the accumulation of some sweeteners, in an experimental context. |
