dc.description.abstract The fact that productivity depends on the atmospheric conditions in which hens live; and the fact that climatic constraints encountered in countries with a hot climate such as Algeria; led us to be interested in the effects of an increase in ambient temperature on the zootechnical performance of hens. From the studies carried out in this context to discover that heat stress has an effect on consumption performance, even on the quality of the laying, the weight of the egg and the quality of the shell. A decrease in feed performance results in lower feed consumption due to reduced energy content and maximum nitrogen retention. Egg laying quality is determined by a fall in egg laying that is primarily caused by the reduction in energy consumption and various nutrients, the hen will not be able to maintain the rate of egg productivity. The weight of the egg: a rise in temperature above 35°c results in a reduction in the weight of the egg and its constituents (egg white, yolk...ect). The quality of the shell: a remarkable weakening of the shell due to a decrease in the capacity of the blood to transport calcium ions, a phenomenon associated with the alkalosis that results from panting. en_US
