Résumé:
This study aims at revealing to what extent Information and Communication Technology has an impact on the performance of Algerian establishments, as the digital revolution has become the main subject of the time nowadays in the world globally and Algeria particularly because of its impressive success in all domains whether economic, political, social or services. On this standpoint, we wanted to focus on one of the Algerian institutions to figure out the influence of the integration of ICTs on its performance and therefore, we conducted a field study on a sample consisting of 30 people from the employees of the Algeria Communication Unit in Mostaganem , the research used the questionnaire as a main tool to collect the necessary data and information as well as interviews and observation, and we reached the fact that ICTs has an impact on the institution’s performance somehow but it remains insufficient due to the low level of use of latest devices and the low efficiency of its human resources skills in addition to the weak dependence on internal networks as well as the lack of cooperation between the data and the labor force. The research also reached a set of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which is the intensification of training courses for human resources in order to redress the shortcomings and thus the necessity of developing an integrated strategy for the management of human resources that includes adaptation to the rapid changes in the environment surrounding the institution, providing the latest technological devices and working to renew old devices, increasing staff awareness of the need to adopt These technologies in their work, as well as establishing an effective information system that contributes to achieving sustainable development.
