Résumé:
The study aimed to identify the importance of realizing the importance of
healthy food awareness among intermediate education pupils (13-16) years, and
the purpose of the study is to assess awareness of healthy nutrition among
intermediate education pupils (13-16) years, as the researcher relied on the
descriptive approach in the survey method on A sample of 60 male and female
students, chosen randomly. A health nutrition awareness questionnaire
consisting of two axes (demographic aspect or personal data, and daily habits)
was used with a total of 33 questions.
This study resulted in the most important results, including:
• That the use of a standardized diet program gives a positive result of varying
proportions in getting rid of some extra kilograms in people who suffer from
obesity and overweight category of 13-16 years males.
• Regulating taking daily meals and not overeating.
• Doing daily activities characterized by positive movement that is not idle.
In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommends:
• Conducting other studies that establish reference numbers and databases for
body measurements (obesity) at this age group.
• Allocating appropriate budgets for health awareness programs for the
community in general and for children in particular.
• Providing the appropriate environment for practicing sports activities for
school children, such as increasing green areas and establishing sports centers.
