Résumé:
Work carried out consists in characterisation of the Djebel Debbagh halloysite. This material underwent thereafter a chemical modification through an intercalation by acetates, in order to modify its physico-chemical properties. The follow-up of the intercalation was ensured by XRD and FTIR. The intercalates were used in the malachite green adsorption from aqueous phase. Various parameters were considered such as pH of the solution, contact time, concentration and temperature. The adsorption of malachite green by modified halloysites led to very interesting results.
