Résumé:
The objective of this work was to develop and use calculation methods in order to check and optimize the operating parameters of the dehydration section, and this after the increase in water content following the depletion of the deposit, as well as the change in feed composition.
After checking the sizing method of the dehydration unit, and therefore validation of the calculation method, we carried out a verification of the operation in current conditions. Interpretation of the results showed that the dehydration unit is largely under-exploited at around 31% of its capacity.
To face this situation and optimize this unit under the necessary conditions, we have proposed two hypotheses, namely, the modification of the cycle time, and the bypass of a
dryer.
Following this study, we found the optimal operating conditions:
• Keep the same configuration of the dryers, but with the increase of time absorption up to 71 hours;
• By-pass of a dryer and increase in cycle time up to 35 hours;
Recommendations :
A techno-economic study is desirable in order to minimize the overconsumption of energy and increase the duration of dryers;
Work with a single adsorption column and a cycle time of 35 hours;
