Résumé:
Financial inclusion issues have received wide attention in recent years
at the level of financial policy makers in various countries of the world,
particularly the Arab countries, where financial inclusion has contributed to
expanding the scope of the banking system's activities to include all
segments of society, through the generalization of financial and banking
services.
Accordingly, this study aims to highlight the importance of promoting
financial inclusion as a means to increase the depth of the banking sector as
an alternative to traditional banking services; The study concluded that the
Arab countries are still lagging behind as a group in improving the efficiency
of access to financial and banking services to the various segments of
society, which requires the leaders of the Arab countries to pay attention to
promoting financial inclusion as a basic approach within the framework of
their policies to raise the depth of their banking sectors.
