Résumé:
This study aims to monitor the therapeutic efficacy of metformin monotherapy in male type 2 diabetics. 12 subjects between 40 and 60 years of age were included in this study. The measurements and controls carried out in patients at the 1st and 3rd months concerned: HbA1c, blood sugar, triglyceridemia and total cholesterol. The results underwent a monofactorial bulk variance analysis and a comparison of means two to two based on the Newman and Keuls test.
After 3 months of therapy, it appears that the treatment with metformin adopted as monotherapy is very effective in regulating carbohydrate homeostasis as well as lipid balance balance in patients.
