Résumé:
Moringa oleifera is a tree belonging to the Moringaceae family, native to India. Is a plant of nutritional and medicinal interest, which is found in tropical regions. This work was devoted on the one hand to a chemical characterization of extracts from M. oleifera leaves: extractions, assays of phenolic compounds (total phenols, flavonoids), demonstration of certain secondary metabolism (saponins, alkaloids, terpenoids and tannins ). On the other hand, the determination of antioxidant activity (anti-free radical activity, reducing power).
This work is a contribution to the study of the content of total polyphenols and flavonoids and to evaluate the antioxidant activity by the method of DPPH, the total phenols were determined by the method of Folin-Ciocalteau reagent and the flavonoids by the aluminum chloride method.
