Résumé:
This study is to determine the effectiveness of a bio-insecticide treatment of plant origin from
the extraction of leaves and roots of Urtica dioïca from the region of Mostaganem against the
larvae of Tuta absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) known as the tomato leaf miner. The plant chosen for
our study is represented by Urtica dioïca, a common plant; everyone knows it for its stinging
contact. In fact, it is a medicinal plant used since antiquity for its numerous therapeutic
properties. The extraction of U.dioïca leaves obtained by Soxhlet. While for the roots
extracted by the method of Sijith et al. (2011). The experimentation revealed that the extract
of U. dioïca can be a very interesting means of control.
