The age group most affected by diabetes is between 61 and 75 years old. The calculation of the body mass index indicated that overweight patients are the most affected with a rate of 45%. The hereditary factor had its place in the present study, where we recorded a rate of 75% of diabetic patients by heredity with only 25% non-heredited. Patients who did not exercise physical activity are around 85% against 15%. The presence of the diet was found in 60% compared to 40% who followed their normal diet.
