Résumé:
We tested the antagonistic capabilities of 5 strains of bacteria belonging to Pseudomonas fluorescens vis-à-vis Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. ciceris, responsible for chickpea vascular fusarium wilt.
The five strains of Pseudomonas were collected from different regions of Mostaganem. They come from the rhizosphere of the chickpea.
Confrontation tests are carried out in vitro, according to two modes of confrontation: in direct confrontation or antibiosis and in indirect confrontation via volatile substances.
The results obtained reveal an important inhibition of mycelial growth and sporulation of the parasite during antibiotic testing. On the other hand, in the case of the test of volatile substances, only mycelial growth was inhibited, sporulation was instead stimulated in the presence of strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens
