Résumé:
In this study, we present some species of sea cucumbers common to the Algerian coast, namely the Mostaganem coast. 43 individuals of the species studied are collected in different regions of the Mostaganem coast, between February and June 2022, including H. poli, H. arguinensis, H. sanctori, H. tubulosa, and H. algeriensis. The results obtained show: a sex ratio with a confidence interval of 8.25 in H. poli, 30.79 in H. tubulosa and 8.98 in H. algeriensis. A total average RGS of males and females of 1.06% in H. poli, 1.33% in H. arguinensis, 2.03% in H. sanctori, 1.1% in H. tubulosa and 0.33% in H. algeriensis. For oocyte diameter, the maximum egg sizes are 30.905μm for H. poli, 17.85μm for H. arguinensis, 21.011μm for H. sanctori and 30.452μm for H. tubulosa. The average absolute fecundity is 450657.99 eggs in H. poli, 2165332.2 eggs in H. arguinensis, 183190.52 eggs in H. sanctori, and 196159.8 eggs in H. tubulosa. Together the preliminary results obtained on fecundity, we provide a preliminary database on the reproduction of these species.
