Abstract:
This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the importance of human capital
development in economic institutions in general and in Association of Agriculture Cooperatives of
Mostaganem in particular, and its impact on improving the performance of its employees. In order
to achieve this goal, we have relied on the analytical descriptive curriculum. We have also relied on
both the interview with the officials of the institutions human resources department and the
questionnaire on a random sample of 34 workers out of the 171 worker study community.
The results highlighted a low level of development and investment of human capital in the
association of Agriculture Cooperatives of Mostaganem and therefore had no role in improving the
performance of workers. The institution didn’t rely on an effective method of training its workers,
with no specialized body to evaluate employees' performance.
