is one of the main problemsthat have hampered the progress and developmentprocess in mostsocieties,
The importance of the issue of inflation stems fromitsnegativeeffects on the purchasing power of
enteringvariouseconomicunits, and thus on the level of welfare in the economy.
Algeria, likemanyother countries of the world, isstillsufferingfrom the phenomenon of inflation,
whichtakes a large part of the thinking of economistsbecause of thisphenomenon has
manynegativeeffects, botheconomically and socially. Especially on the purchasing power of the Algerian
individual, as inflation reduces the real incomes of owners of fixedincomes, such as pensioners and
employees, for example, thatis, theirability to converttheir cash wagesintogoods and services isdecreasing,
and at the same time the incomes of thosewith variable incomessuch as businessmen, tradeworkers and
intermediariesincrease.
