The present study focused on the study of the effect of the diets of two farms east of Mostaganem on the fat and protein qualities of the milk of dairy cows.
A follow-up was carried out on two herds of black piebald and Montbéliard breeds over a period of four months. Average milk production is 12.12 L per cow per day for farm A and 10.83 L/V/D for farm B.
The dairy cows on which the monitoring was carried out on the same breeds and present similar physiological states the nature of the fodder distributed during the Internship period were the same except that the quantities distributed for each fodder in the rations remain different. The results obtained that the Farm A (fat: 30.55 g/l Protein: 30.20 g/l) levels are low compared to farm B (fat: 35.66 g/l Protein: 33.50 g/l) The other parameters the measurements (fat and protein and ph and lactose and acidity) remain in line with accepted standards.
The differences in the results recorded are probably due to the different proportions in the diets served by each farm, with the best diets returning to farm B. |
