Résumé:
The fig tree Ficus caricaL is a widespread species in the Mediterranean basin.The main objective of this work is the «in vitro» evaluation of the biological activities of the extract of the leaves of Ficus carica L, from the north-western region of Algeria Wilaya de Tlemcen.The assay showed that the extracts are rich in total polyphenols with a content of 31.853± 0.80532 μg EAA/g ES, and the quantity of total flavonoids is estimated to be 13.941± 0.06808 μg EQ/mgES. The antioxidant activity was determined in vitro through the following evaluation tests: trapping the radical DPPH and FRAP showed that Ficus caricaL. has a good antioxidant activity in the concentration 2000 μg/ml with a percentage inhibition 58.28%. The antibacterial activity of the extract tested on the seven bacterial strains tested is varied according to the strain tested. F extract. carica has a stronger inhibitory effect against E. coli with a maximum inhibition zone of 18mm.The anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated by the membrane stabilization HRBC method, the extracts of Ficus caricashowed an interesting effect of 79.48% in the concentration 500 μg/ml.
