Résumé:
The high price of commercial granulated feed is one of the factors limiting the development of rational rabbit farming in Algeria. The raw materials that make up the food currently available on the market are largely imported and expensive. The work carried out in this research is aimed at the nutritional value of ( gesse lathyrus sativus). The objective of this study is to replace dehydrated alfalfa and soybean meal in rabbit feed .
Evaluation Grass pea provided as a food source for growing rabbits containing (34%) proteins and concentrations the Grass pea was integrated into the rabbit diet, precisely 20%, 30% and 40% and concentrate 40% contains (21.87%) Protein rate is high by intake to the standard food (14.03%)
The results obtained during this experiment were truly exceptional, especially in two crucial aspects: the nutritional quality of the meat and the increase in weight. It should be noted that the use of a 30% concentration of Grass pea resulted in remarkably significant results
