Abstract:
The main objective of our work is to study the physicochemical parameters of seawater and therefore of the mouth of the Oued el Mactaa, the water itself being a very complex factor due to its highly variable physico-chemical properties (temperature, salinity and pH). The Algerian coast is subject to various urban pressures. Industry and tourism have brought it great ecological vulnerability.
This study is divided into three chapters, the first chapter presents the water pollution, the second chapter presents the Oued El Mactaa study site (study area), the third chapter presents the physico-chemical parameters, then the materials and methods, and finally the presentations of results and discussion We end our work with general conclusions where we found that during the month of March - May the pH of the sea water of the two sites is within the norm. Thus we studied the influence of certain parameters, namely the temperature, salinity and conductivity to confirm the presence of permanent pollution due to contamination of Wadi El Mactaa.
