dc.description.abstract Industrial chicken eggs and meat are two high-quality food products derived from the same animal, the laying hen or broiler chicken. Eggs are versatile and nutrient-rich, while chicken meat is sought after for its low fat content and culinary versatility. A study conducted between April and October in Mostaganem aimed to enhance the quality of these products by adding 1 ml of essential oil (eucalyptus, curcuma) to 1 liter of chicken drinking water, incorporate Tween 80 to facilitate the dispersion of essential oils in water, while also adding 10 grams of pomegranate peel powder per kilogram of chicken weight to their diet. The results showed a significant increase in protein content, minerals, and dry matter, as well as an increase in egg weight, with eucalyptus essential oil having the most significant impact. en_US
