Abstract
Penal liability was known only to the natural person for a long period of time until a jurisprudential controversy emerged between supporters and opponents of approving the criminal responsibility of the legal person. Our national legislation took the direction in favor of the criminal responsibility of the moral person, and this came gradually, starting from total exclusion through partial recognition of it, and that is by stipulating conditions that, if available, the criminal responsibility of the legal person, and from it the state has the right to punish him with penalties stipulated by the Algerian legislator.
